Export and Rerun a Processing Script
Bundle the verified GUI workflow into a portable MATLAB script with configuration sidecars.
Last updated: 2026-10-07
Export the session
After configuring Steps 1–4, choose EyeSort → History Scripts → Save processing history script. EyeSort writes a GUI-free .m file and copies portable sidecars beside it:
- the text-IA configuration;
- the label queue, when available;
- localized copies of the IA text file(s).
The default script name is eyesort_processing_script.m; sidecars are based on the chosen script name.
Review before rerunning
Open the generated script and check inputDir, outputDir, conflictResolution, generateSummary, and generateBDF. By default, the script scans inputDir for every .set file. The exact files chosen in Step 1 are included as a commented alternative.
The script calls the non-GUI functions, processes files one at a time, writes <base>_processed.set/.fdt, can create the numbered summary CSV, and can generate eyesort_bins.txt.
Reproducibility checklist
Archive the script and all sidecars together. Record EyeSort, MATLAB, and EEGLAB versions; do not rely only on plugin-cache files. Rerun on one representative participant and compare canonical label counts before processing a new batch.
EyeSort also records evaluable commands in EEGLAB history. The exported bundle is preferable for sharing because it localizes configuration and IA dependencies.
