EEG-level fields
region_names: ordered region names.eyesort_processed: true after successful Step 2.eyesort_field_names: configured fixation/saccade fields plusrtl.eyesort_condition_descriptions,eyesort_condition_lookup: BDF text lookup.eyesort_step2_diagnostics: trigger, key, and assignment counts.eyesort_imported_columns,eyesort_import_diagnostics: Step 3 metadata.eyesort_label_count,eyesort_label_descriptions: applied label records.eyesort_event_format: current labeled-event display format.eyesort_last_label_matched_count,eyesort_last_label_diagnostics: most recent label result.
Mapping and stimulus fields
Each event receives initialized regionBoundaries, word_boundaries, and per-region fields regionN_start, regionN_end, regionN_name, regionN_words, and regionN_text. Mapped fixations use current_region, current_word, and current_word_text. current_word stores the MATLAB-safe word-boundary key—typically a value such as x4_2 for region 4, word 2—rather than a plain numeric index.
Trial and behavioral fields
trial_number, condition_number, item_number, previous_word, previous_fixation_region, next_fixation_region, last_region_visited, next_region_visited, region_pass_number, fixation_in_pass, is_last_in_pass, is_first_pass_region, is_first_pass_word, is_regression_trial, is_region_regression, is_word_regression, total_fixations_in_word, and total_fixations_in_region.
Label fields
original_type, eyesort_condition_code, eyesort_region_code, eyesort_label_code, eyesort_full_code, bdf_condition_description, bdf_label_description, and bdf_full_description.
Empty values on nonapplicable events are normal. The canonical code is eyesort_full_code; do not infer EyeSort identity solely from type.
