Report a Reproducible Issue
Collect a minimal, privacy-safe EyeSort report that maintainers can reproduce.
Last updated: 2026-10-07
Search first
Search existing GitHub issues, then create a new issue if the behavior is not already covered.
Include environment and scope
Report EyeSort version, MATLAB release, EEGLAB version, operating system, single/batch mode, and the exact menu step or function call. Include the full error text and relevant MATLAB warning output.
Attach reproducible inputs
When privacy and consent permit, provide the smallest dataset and IA rows that reproduce the problem. Remove participant identifiers. Also attach:
- manually saved text-IA configuration;
- saved label queue;
- exported processing script and sidecars;
- the relevant diagnostic structs;
- expected versus observed output filenames/counts;
- parsed-region export or screenshots when geometry is involved.
Useful diagnostic exports:
save('eyesort_diagnostics.mat', ...
'-struct', 'EEG', ...
'eyesort_step2_diagnostics', ...
'eyesort_import_diagnostics', ...
'eyesort_last_label_diagnostics')
If a field is absent, omit it rather than editing the dataset to create it.
State exact reproduction steps
List the smallest ordered actions from launching EEGLAB to failure, including conflict choices and event format. For code paths, include the exact call and a stack trace from ME.getReport('extended').
Use GitHub Issues for software defects; use the project contact page for nonpublic or general inquiries.
